NamasteDirect Advisory Board


The NamasteDirect Advisory Board is responsible for guiding the management of our non-profit organization. They support the work of NamasteDirect as experienced advisors and active volunteers. To encourage the involvement of a younger generation in the field of microcredit, half of the NamasteDirect Board members are under the age of 35.

 

 
BOB GRAHAM BOB GRAHAM
Bob founded the Katalysis Partnership in 1984 and NamasteDirect in 2004. He is a businessman, philanthropist, CPA, and author (a book, 50-50 at 50 that is available on Amazon.com and magazine articles). He has extensive international development experience in Central America, and in India with the Tibetan Government in Exile.

Amy Hillyard AMY HILLYARD
Amy is Leadership Development Manager for Electronic Arts, a leading computer game designer, where she develops leadership programs for high potential talent and works with senior leaders to facilitate organizational change. She holds a masters degree in Organizational Psychology from JFK University and has conducted dialogue processes in India, Kenya, and Spain.
BOB ILSE BOB ILSE
Bob, a co-founder of NamasteDirect, is a lifetime businessman and executive in the food processing industry, most recently CEO of Stanislaus Food Products. Bob was a member of the Katalysis Partnership Board of Directors and is now the Chair of the NamasteDirect Advisory Board.
SHERRIE ILSE
Sherrie, a co-founder of NamasteDirect, is a longtime social activist, especially for women's and children's issues, including the Girl Scout Day Camp for Children of Migrant Workers and the Stockton Women's Center. She is an active political organizer and fundraiser.
<empty>BRYNNA JACOBSON

Brynna developed and implemented the NamasteDirect Fellowship Program, originally having served as a Fellow herself.  Brynna received her BA from UC Berkeley and her Masters in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego.  She continues to stay involved with NamasteDirect through her new organization Jantaa.

 

SUNNY MAHANT

Sunny is the former President of NamasteDirect.  Sunny worked for several years in management, marketing, and Mergers & Acquisitions at Cisco Systems and Bell Labs.  He has an MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and completed a executive program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.  He also led a team of MBA consultants from Stanford that helped developed a new strategic plan for NamasteDirect.

 
PATRICK O HEFFERNAN PATRICK O'HEFFERNAN
Patrick O'Heffernan is a strategist and multi-media specialist. He is a consultant to LinkTV, a Senior Fellow at the Commonweal Institute, and the social entrepreneur blogger at the Skoll Foundation's SocialEdge website. Patrick has been awarded an Emmy, multiple Tellys and a Diamond Award for television production and promotion.

WES SELKE WES SELKE
Wes is a Portfolio Officer with Good Capital, an investment firm that
accelerates the flow of capital to initiatives that harness the power of
the market to solve society's most challenging problems. He is
passionate about microfinance and traveled to Guatemala in March 2006 as a NamasteDirect Fellow. Wes graduated with an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley where he continues to co-lead an introductory course on microfinance.
Chutta Ratnathicam CHUTTA RATNATHICAM
Chutta has twenty seven years of experience in Finance and Executive management with a $4+ billion global transportation and logistics company headquartered in Palo Alto. He is an active volunteer for SCORE, Lowell High School, and Seven Tepees. He also serves on the Board at Franklin Resources and California State University, School of Business.

Jessica Welborn JESSICA WELBORN
Jessica is a student at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute pursuing a doctoral degree in Perinatal Psychology. Jessica works for MOMS (Making Our Milk Safe), an organization that seeks to eradicate chemicals in the environment that threaten our children’s health and development. She has spent significant time traveling and volunteering in Central America with an emphasis on developing NamasteDirect's relationships with local microcredit partners.
