On June 20th, 2007, a group of Valley Girls gathered at Connie Stout's home to learn more about making a difference in women's lives. The Valley Giving Girls are mothers, teachers, daughters, and friends who live in Calfornia's Central Valley. They hail from Turlock, Patterson, Hilmar, and Denair. They are all ages with many diverse life experiences.

The Girls were touched by the stories and dreams shared by the women in Guatemala. They can relate to these women and they are excited to hear that their contributions can make a lasting, tangible difference. Together they decided to form a Giving Circle with an initial goal of $5,000. The minimum donation is $20 and the Valley Giving Girls are excited to involve and teach the younger generation how they can contribute towards helping women.
